Quality Discrepancy & Lab Re-test
Quality Discrepancy & Technical Re-test: As activated carbon is a functional material, any quality claims must be supported by analytical data. If the delivered product's specifications (e.g., Iodine Value, Moisture, Ash content) deviate from the contracted COA (Certificate of Analysis), the Client shall notify Tongke within 15–30 days of receipt.
In case of a dispute, a re-test report from a mutually recognized third-party laboratory (e.g., SGS, BV, or Intertek) shall serve as the final verdict. If a discrepancy is confirmed, Tongke guarantees a 100% replacement or equivalent credit compensation, including the re-test fees.
Shipping Damage & Risk Transfer
Shipping Damage & Risk Transfer: Risk of loss or damage is transferred from Tongke to the Client according to the specified Incoterms 2020 (e.g., FOB, CIF, or DDP).
Damage Claims: For issues such as moisture absorption or excessive fines (dusting) caused by compromised packaging during transit, the Client must record the damage on the Bill of Lading immediately upon arrival.
Priority Compensation: For CIF/DDP orders, Tongke will assist in the insurance claim process and, for strategic partners, may initiate Priority Replacement before the insurance payout is finalized to ensure the Client’s production line is not disrupted.
